The Message

True God and Not Gods.

True God and not the Pagan gods that we serve.

Jesus never claimed he was God nor even claimed he was the Creator, like many believers do. Jesus gave them this answer: “Very truly I tell you, the Son can do nothing by himself; he can do only what he sees his Father doing because whatever the Father does, the Son also does. John 5:19. Believers in Jesus as God, as stated in John 10, I and the Father are one.”John 10:30. Let us step back in verse 29 to correct the misinterpretation by many followers: “My Father who has given them to me is more significant than all. No one can snatch them out of my Father’s hand. (John 10: 29). It is evident that the Father is distinct from the Son (John 10:29-30)—they are One Spirit but two different personas.

For whoever does the will of my Father who is in Heaven, he is my brother, sister, and mother.”(Matthew 12:50). Jesus declares that those who follow Him and do God’s Will will become part of the Family of God. Our connection with the Son establishes an excellent relationship with the Father. We are justified, sanctified, and saved because we obey God’s will (John 3:16). Jesus becomes our brother. Once saved, always be saved. Does this give us license to sin? Are we not going to lose our salvation? So, there is already a room reserved for the saved in Heaven?

Sanctification is a process of being freed from sin. It is almost close to the doctrine of Purgatory, where the soul with sin goes. Purgatory is not a doctrine of evangelical Christians. The Sanctification through the work of the Son, Jesus, is only the beginning of our journey toward the kingdom where God is, to receive our reward of a glorified body after an ongoing struggle with the 2nd process of Sanctification. The purification is the present stage wherein we are on the battlefield against principalities trying to block our way to regain the lost perfection and receive the crown of righteousness.

Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of Heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in Heaven-(Matthew 7:21). God’s will is to be what He wants us to be, to do good works, to have a relationship with Him, and to know Him better. Not to get something from Him, to get into Heaven. That is not how it works; once we have that genuine relationship and love (Pure heart and clear mind), our good works follow the goodness of God. “Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is. [3] And every man that hath this hope in him purifies himself, even as he is pure.” 1 John 3

Joshua declared what matters most to him and his household to know whom they will serve without a doubt. – Joshua 24:14-15. Knowing the true God to serve is significant, or every work will be meaningless. But the LORD says, ‘Even the captives of the most mighty and most terrible shall all be freed; for I will fight those who fight you, and I will save your children” (Isaiah 49:24 & 25). They said, “Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household.” (Acts 16:31). It is evident that the prerequisite for the Gift of Salvation has been in John 3:16.

Father, thank you for guiding us on the way to righteous living, and may you guide us more in doing what you want us to be. We submit to you, LORD, our weaknesses and grant our request for a healthy body and mind to serve you well.
