Religion: Sunday & Sabbath Worship Part 8- Religion

Religion is an artificial system of faith and worships with the inherent manipulation of fear triggered directly in our brains. Most of this control is to get into our weaknesses until we submit and develop a deep-rooted belief that will lead us to be a bondservant of our own shadow. Fear is the most brutal enemy built within us. Once you discover it, it will haunt you for a long hole. Beliefs handed to us by our parents and learned from friends and associates awaken the enemy within us and destroy our ignorance, if not take our innocence.

One of these beliefs is a superstition that is very famous amongst the natives of every superstitious country, and they carried those beliefs when they migrated to the cities. Children’s books with evil characters are also a tool that can develop fear among young ones until they mature and overcome that fear. Ghost stories are a firm belief to many. Asian countries like China and India are known to have many superstitious beliefs, and many believe that Chinese settlers also brought that belief to the Philippines. Beliefs are typically introduced to us at a very early age, with a follow-up warning that if we are not careful to follow them, punishment (curse) will befall them.

A learned and mature person would not pass it on to their children. We learned by experience that superstitious beliefs sometimes affect our decisions. I did not mention any superstitious beliefs that I know in this writing. Remember, we are victims of these beliefs; why pass them on? Do your kids a favor; hold it within yourself and if ever you hear it from your children, reject it. We already have too many challenges and do not want to pass fear onto our young ones. When it happens to you by coincidence or knowledge, and you acknowledge it, it will become part of you. You must try to uproot those beliefs. Otherwise, you enslave yourself to fear the consequences it will bring. Do not give any meaning to bad things that happened to you; treat them positively, or you can ignore them. You can also pass it to someone who can take care of it —Our LORD.

Religion kills and is not part of our salvation. Religion cannot save us; it has nothing to do with our salvation. Our salvation is well accepted and explained as a gift from God. Just bear in mind these two passages to give you assurance and peace of mind that everything will be alright.

Hebrews 11:6—”And it is impossible to please God without faith. Anyone who wants to come to him must believe that God exists and that he rewards those who sincerely seek him.” And the second is in John 3:16—”For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” Also, remember that there is a hidden revelation in every word that God said that could be revealed to you, or maybe it is already revealed, but you are unaware.

Habakkuk, the prophet, repeatedly asked God for help with societal injustices, such as the triumph of wickedness over goodness and senseless violence. Habakkuk’s complaints have reached the point that he questioned God’s goodness. The same as Habakkuk, we are usually overwhelmed by our emotions and feelings over the continued existence of evilness and tragedy that we witness every single day in the world; the power and influence of money, the law for the poor and not for the rich, corruption and misinformation, and as always, our weakest response to all of these is to walk away from God.

God did not ignore Habakkuk. God was raising the Chaldeans, a bitter and hasty nation, terrible and dreadful, that will possess the land that was not theirs and will do justice. God wants us to grow from a faith of confusion, crisis, and doubt to the highest peak of absolute trust in God.

We are all called to acknowledge God’s existence, and His will for us is to be with Him to eternity; that is how much He loves us. We have free will to use or ignore it, and God will never be on the way to force us. Will there be any consequences for our actions? Believe it, it has. One of the many things hidden in John 3:16 is the truth about the Trinity. The Father, The Son, and the Holy Spirit.

God is all in all.
