Keys to Successful Christian Living

Romans 4:5, KJV: “But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.
“For everyone who does the will of my Father in Heaven, the same is my brother, sister, and mother.” Matthew 12:50

If you have accepted Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Saviour and Brother, here are some humble steps to help you live a successful and fulfilled life to the fullest:

1.     Read the Bible daily to know God, His unconditional love, and how He talks to us. Also, I want to learn about Jesus Christ, his mission, and his teachings. The word of God is a love letter to His sons and daughters. He is transparent about what He will do; when He says it, He will do it. When He promises something, we will get it. When we do things against His will, He may chastise us. Obedience to His will and purpose is the key to successful living.

“All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness” – 2 Timothy 3:16

“Study to show yourself approved to God, a workman that need not be ashamed,     rightly dividing the word of truth.” – 2 Timothy 2:15
“Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light into my path.” (Psalms 119:105)

2.     Communicate with God Daily in Prayer. This is the only way we can get near Him and experience the joy we have never felt before.

“And all things, whatsoever you shall ask in prayer, believing, that you  shall receive.”-  Matthew 21:22

“Be careful of nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with  thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.” – Philippians 4:6

3.     Repent, Baptize, Worship, Fellowship, and Experience the presence of Jesus among other Christians in a church where Christ is the body of believers. We can make our house a house church; it is biblical, and always remember that the Bible is the final authority.

“Go ye  therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and the Holy Ghost:” – Matthew 28:19

“Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is;    but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as you see the day approaching”- Hebrews 10:25

4.    Give Honor To Christ, our Redeemer.
“And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.” – Mark 16:15

“For though I preach the gospel, I have nothing to glory of for necessity is laid upon me; yea, woe is unto me, if I preach not the gospel!”- 1 Corinthians 9:16

“For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God into salvation to everyone that believes; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.”- Romans 1:16
“For though I preach the gospel, I have nothing to glory of for necessity is laid upon me; yea, woe is unto me, if I preach not the gospel!”- 1 Corinthians 9:16

My Father loves me because I lay down my life—only to take it up again. No one takes it from me, but I lay it down of my own accord. I have the authority to lay it down and take it up again. This command I received from my Father.”

Thank you, LORD God, Jesus the beloved Son, and the Holy Spirit within us. That formed the Holy Trinity.
