Evangelism Part 10: The Message Series
Evangelism Part 10: The message from God is through His messengers, Angels, Prophets, Pastors, and other anointed persons.
Jesus said He only spoke what the Father told Him. And He warned the People:
“There is a judge for the one who rejects Me and does not accept My words; the very words I have spoken will condemn them at the last day. I did not speak on My own, but the Father who sent Me commanded Me to say all that I have spoken. “I know that His command leads to eternal life. So, whatever I say is what the Father has told Me to say.” (John 12:48–50)
Religious groups of people, large and small, living on one created earth have divided beliefs. Some leaders are overprotecting their members against proselytes, which causes a significant impact on the lives of those who will try to convert them (members). Evangelism doesn’t work in this area of the world. With the help of the three largest religions that believe in the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, the message was heard by those who don’t have the knowledge and or are ignorant about God. Christians, Judaism, and Islam all believe in one God as the most powerful and sovereign.
Through the Christian missionaries, Jesus’ name was revealed to almost all walks of life; whether they believe in Jesus and his mission or not, the seeds have already been planted, and they have already heard the word of truth. The modern technology that most Evangelists have accessed becomes the tool of their mission. They can reach people even in a remote areas without living in their buildings.
Since the name of Jesus has been used by most Christians on many occasions, Jesus becomes the center of the Christian movement, and the God that Jesus was preaching becomes just a background. Though many have already heard the teachings and preachings of the word of God, many still cannot accept the message for many reasons. The significant work of the missionaries was carried out by preaching the knowledge that had been planted in their hearts. However, we still believe that if they resist accepting the word, we have the patience to wait because the time will come when they start to grow and become thirsty for the truth.
The time will come that everyone will realize the name Jesus, the Son of God, the name above any name, and every knee shall vow and acknowledge him that God sent him and they will be saved. Jesus will be acknowledged as the Messiah, and that will end the longing for his coming, particularly by the Jewish people. He is more than a prophet, the highest priest, and the king of kings.
When those things happen, what is more, apparent is that Jesus said that the Father is mightier than him. As we acknowledge Jesus, we should acknowledge His Father more than him. During his lifetime, Jesus didn’t call himself God or consider himself God, and none of his disciples had an idea that he was God. God the Almighty says: In Isaiah 42:8, “I am the LORD, that is My name; I will not give My glory to another, Nor My praise to graven images” God also said: “I will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and will show mercy to whom I will show mercy. In Isaiah 48:11, God says, “For my own sake, I do this. How can I let myself be defamed? I will not yield my glory to another.”
Humans, by nature, are sinners and imperfect beings that consistently miss the mark. From Adam to the present time, humans are short for the glory of God. Sins are more accessible to spread to humans than any other creations because of the law, and we need the law to live righteously. Lawlessness will only destroy the human race, which is the sad part of living without God and His word to guide us. When God says it, He will do it and make it happen when He promises it. That is the message from the Lord.
God said: “Turn to Me and be saved, all the ends of the earth; for I am God, and there is no other. I have sworn by myself; truth has gone out from My mouth, a word that will not be revoked: Every knee will bow before Me, every tongue will swear allegiance. Surely they will say to me, ‘In the LORD alone are righteousness and strength.’ ” All who rage against Him will come to Him and be shamed. What else do we need to know when God already said He is God and no one else before Him?
“When God made His promise to Abraham since He had no one greater to swear by, He swore by Himself”— Hebrews 6:13. The message is clear that God is all in all. He does not need to report to someone or submit; He is the supreme and sovereign LORD of Host.
There are many versions and revisions of the Bible, some updated versions due to transliteration from the original manuscript; some made their own Bible for their congregation, some make their version easier to understand, some made it sound in expanding the scripture, but some made a perversion of the Bible, and we know this is not acceptable. The Bible, in general, is the message from God, and to understand it is by read it by heart, you may not understand it right away, but time will surprise you when the Holy Spirit starts to work within you.
This is an important message to remember: LORD is God the Almighty Father, the Lord is the mighty Son of God, and the Lord is the child of God (partaker of the Divine Nature of God), the third entity or person in the Godhead, and who is it? It could be you!
I, You, and We, then 1st, 2nd, and 3rd person form the Trinity.
Deuteronomy 6:13—Fear the LORD your God, serve Him only, and take your oaths in His name.
God is all in all.
