Enemies of Faith

Enemies Of Faith

1) Lack of knowledge or ignorance of God’s word;

Hosea 4:1-6
:1 Hear the word of the LORD, ye children of Israel: for the LORD hath a controversy with the inhabitants of the land because there is no truth, mercy, or knowledge of God in the land.
:2 By swearing, and lying, and killing, and stealing, and committing adultery, they break out, and blood toucheth blood.
:3 Therefore shall the land mourn, and everyone that dwelleth therein shall languish, with the beasts of the field, and with the fowls of heaven; yea, the fishes of the sea also shall be taken away.
:4 Yet let no man strive, nor reprove another: for thy people are as they that strive with the priest.
:5 Therefore shalt thou fall in the day, and the prophet also shall fall with thee in the night, and I will destroy thy mother.
:6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.

2) Failure to act like God’s word is true;
Mark 11:24  Therefore I say unto you, What things do you desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.

3) Concentration on what you see with the five senses.
Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

I peter 5:2 Feed the flock of God among you, taking the oversight thereof, not by constraint, but willingly; not for filthy lucre, but of a ready mind.

4) Being Un-forgiveness.
Mark 11:26 But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father in heaven forgive your trespasses.

5) Lack of Patience.
Hebrews 10:23 Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;).

6) Disobedience, Transgression, Usurpation of Authority.
Ephesians 5:6   Let no man deceive you with vain words: because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience.
Hebrews 2:2 For if the word spoken by angels was steadfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just recompense of reward
I Timothy 2:12 But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be silent.
