The Christians Today

Responsibility and Accountability

Spiritually blinded, intellectually ignorant, demoralized mindsets and behavioral issues are the significant changes of today’s generation due to many factors. We will mention some.

Weapons on the streets cause violence because of the market availability, illegal drugs, social media disinformation, people are less religious, and parents don’t bring their kids to church to learn good moral values. Still, we cannot expect that anymore from the church leaders. Preachings are not reaching the kid’s hearts, if there are any. Some, if not the majority, of Parents do not believe in their leaders. Both political and religious leaders turn to serve their self-interest in making money rather than being model leaders to be admired. Money becomes the joy of their lives and the master they serve.

Our House is still a safe place for the kids to learn, and parents’ guidance is the tool to have better kids. As they age, they will be better individuals who may give a wave of new creations and life for a better tomorrow. We observed how parents play a significant influence in shaping their kids from infancy to legal age. Parents will give their infants toys or milk to stop crying, send kids to top-rated schools if they can afford it, clothes and food, and even an iPhone or tablet to avoid being left out among classmates and friends. But more is needed to raise kids. The government must start looking for ways to encourage families to share their ideas on how the kids will have a better foundation to be helpful, respectful, and self-disciplined citizens.

If we need change, we must re-establish the idea that education begins at home. Re-introduce God to their hearts and emphasize love among others. Suppose the traditional church is not doing its job. In that case, it is time to reform how the church will be helpful to the community, and the government must take responsibility for the church leaders not to enjoy the perks given to them without accountability. The separation of church and state is being used corruptibly. The church is using the numbers of its members to get funds from politicians in return for their solid votes. Politicians established their relationships for that purpose, resulting in the election of corrupt officials. God will make a way if they act accordingly.

“Behold, I am doing something new; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.” Isaiah 43:19.

God is good all the time.
