Jesus Christ is Not Coming
Biblical Proof that Jesus is not Coming Again
For two thousand years, some denominations of Christianity continuously preached that Jesus would return with all of his glory to pour judgment upon those who rejected him as their Messiah, as the Son of God and Savior. Jesus’ coming back soon as he promised may seem like not going to happen. If he does come back, be sure we are prepared by turning away from sins, turning back to God in faith with purified hearts and clean hands, and living in humility and holiness before Him.
Since Jesus Christ suffered in the flesh, we must strengthen ourselves with the mindset that he had. Therefore, whoever experiences pain and suffering should cease sin. Sin separates us from God, which is the pain our souls cannot endure when judgment comes. For what shall profit a man if he gains the whole world and loses his soul? Therefore, it is better to spend our time here on earth giving up all the luxuries of sins and making a way to do the will of God.
Living with the desire of the flesh is habitual with human nature; lust, passions, orgies, drunkenness, adultery, pot and drinking parties, idolatry, and any corrupt practices are attached to the famous phrase “you only live once,” followed by “why waste time when you have the opportunity to enjoy life today.” Therefore, do not be surprised when you try to be different from many of your associates that do those wicked things. When you do not join them anymore in the same inundation of corruption, expect them to accuse you, throwing unpleasant things about you; instead of being an excellent example of drawing back to God, you become the target because you open their eyes to their wrongdoings.
When God is with you, no one can be against you; when they persist in doing wicked things against you, they are the ones who will have to spell out their actions before the one who is ready to judge the living and the dead. That is why the gospel was preached even to those who are dead (faithless), that they might miss the mark no more and have the opportunity to live in the spirit the way God does. God is a Spirit, and we must be in His Spirit to enjoy eternal life.
When is Jesus coming back? Jesus said he would come back soon. However, no one knows the exact time when he is coming again. But, how soon is it? Mark 13:32 says, “But about that day or hour, no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.” Curiously, the disciples asked Jesus the same question just before He ascended to heaven. Jesus responded that it is not for them to know the times or seasons in the Father’s authority. So, even Jesus doesn’t know.
Therefore, Jesus may come back anytime, so we must always be ready for the coming of Jesus Christ, or he may not come back as soon as he claimed, and when our patience has been exhausted, waiting is no longer part of our time. It may end up thinking he may not come back anymore. Therefore, we should not lose hope and be mindful of the distractions to humanity by evildoers led by the prince of the air that clouded our minds not to understand the signs of the coming of the LORD.
Many faithful believers such as Pastors, Evangelists, and even ordinary leaders of specific congregations continuously preach the coming of Jesus Christ, which is solely based on what was written in the Bible. Some of them had already passed away without witnessing the coming. What will happen to those people who followed their teachings? Confusion, doubting the truth of the Bible, conflicting interests, walking away with the faith, and may lead to treating the Bible as artificial whose desire is to control the people’s minds.
Deuteronomy 29:29-The secret things belong to the LORD our God, but the things revealed belong to our children and us forever, so that we may follow all the words of this law. Daniel 2:21-22 … “Blessed be the name of God forever and ever, for wisdom and power belong to Him.” “He changes the times and seasons; He removes kings and establishes them. He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to the discerning.” “He reveals the deep and hidden things; He knows what lies in darkness, and light dwells with Him.”
Why do we rush to find our end when we can wait and keep in contact with the Holy One and let His wisdom pour upon us? We need more patience to seek God’s revelation that is on hand. We have God’s word, the Bible; we need to search for the meaning hidden behind that word. We need the wisdom of God to find it. Remember Solomon’s wisdom: “And God gave Solomon wisdom and understanding exceeding much, and largeness of heart, even as the sand on the seashore.-1King 4:29. That is what we need to ask God to give us wisdom.
Is Jesus coming soon or not? The only way to find out is through the written word.
John 14:19 Before long, the world will not see me anymore, but you will see me. Because I live, you also will live. On that day, you will realize that I am in my Father, and you are in me, and I am in you. Whoever has my commands and obeys them is the one who loves me.
Matthew 23:39-Look, your house is left to you desolate. “For I tell you that you will not see Me again until you say, ‘Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord.'”
Let us turn our spirit to be like His Spirit. The end of the ages comes without delay to every individual in God’s anointed time; therefore, with self-control and mindfulness, our prayers will not be forsaken or void. Let us love one another with honor and respect, which is part of God’s commandment. Let us share the blessings we received so that we might be a blessing to others. God blesses those who bless thee. We are the stewards of grace, and grace comes from God.
As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another as God’s stewards of grace. We received the knowledge of the word of God for free; why do we have to sell it and make a profit? Isn’t it a corrupt practice? Corruption in any form is a sin and separation from God.
Everything we do, we do it for the glory of God.
God is all in all.
