Imagine
Imagine if there is no religion; there is no faith to fight for.
Imagine if there is no tomorrow; we do not need to save what we have today.
Imagine if there were no rich or poor; we do not need to strive hard to make a better life.
Imagine if the sun does not rise, there will be no days.
Imagine if there is no moon to light the night; we will live in darkness.
Imagine if there is no God; we are nothing but the dust of the earth.
God’s perfection did these things not to happen.
**He allows religion to conquer our Minds so we can seek His face and talk about Him in many ways; he also wants us to love Him in many ways; Jesus said, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ This is the first and great commandment. Instead of accepting the truth as Jesus had said. Human nature tends to reject it and continue seeking their ways and means; many sticks to their own opinion without asking God for His wisdom to understand the correct interpretations of His word.
Our Physical body consists of Mind, Soul, and Spirit; the Mind executes our decisions; the Soul convicts us when we do something against the will of God and makes us happy when we please Him, and the Spirit gives life. When God gives us His wisdom, it comes with knowledge and understanding. When God created us, it came with intense longing for Him. “My soul thirsts for God, for the living God” (Psalm 42:2).
There are many religious beliefs, and all lead to God. I admit that I am one of the less, if not the most. I have believed in God for most of my whole life. If God doesn’t exist as others believe why do they fear Him? Why do many people continue to seek His face and talk about Him? God exists, and I have a fear of offending Him. I believe that if we keep ourselves in the love of God. He will shower us with His mercy and grace.
Why do evil works seem to dominate this world? The evil power to confuse people is like everyday living. Keeping us from the love of God is very obvious. This is precisely what evil does. As the book of Jude said:” remember the words which were spoken before by the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ: 18 how they told you that there would be mockers in the last time who would walk according to their ungodly lusts. 19 These are sensual persons, who cause divisions, not having the Spirit.” But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit, 21 keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life. We should maintain our life with God. Let us keep our faith more robust than ever; all these temptations and confusion will flee from us as it is written.
The Bible warns us not to be like those who “exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshipped and served created things rather than the Creator” (Romans 1:25).
**He gave us tomorrow so we can have a chance to repent from evil things.” Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life. Jude” 21
God made someone rich in order to help the needy. “Whoever is generous to the poor lends to the LORD, and he will repay him for his deed.” Proverbs 19:17
Whoever oppresses a poor man insults his Maker, but he who is generous to the needy honors him Proverbs 14:31
“Whoever has a bountiful eye will be blessed, for he shares his bread with the poor.” Proverbs 22:9
**He also made some poor to show His unparalleled love. He wants the Rich and the poor to take care of each other. We can say that no one is an island. We cannot be called rich without the existence of the unfortunate. The rich cannot do what the poor can and have. Money can buy something but not everything. Any human possessions cannot buy God’s love. As it is written in Luke 12:33,” Sell your possessions and give to the needy. Provide yourselves with moneybags that do not grow old and a treasure in the heavens that does not fail, where no thief approaches and no moth destroys.”
We cannot buy the Kingdom of God with our possessions. In Mark 12:41-44 “And he owns opposite the treasury and watched the people putting money into the offering box. Many rich people put in large sums. And a poor widow came and put in two small copper coins, which make a penny. And he called his disciples to him and them, “Truly, I say to you, this poor widow has put in more than all those who are contributing to the offering box. They all contributed out of their abundance, but she, out of poverty, has put in everything she had and all she had to live on.”
“Beware of practicing your righteousness before others to be seen by them, for then you will have no reward from your Father who is in heaven. “Thus, when you give to the needy, sound no trumpet before you, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and the streets, that others may praise them. Honestly, I say to you, they have received their reward. But when you give to the needy, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing so that your giving may be secret. And your Father who sees in secret will reward you. “And when you pray, you must not be like the hypocrites, for they love to stand and pray in the synagogues and at the street corners so that others may see them. Indeed, I say to you, they have received their reward. Matthew 6:1-34
Hebrew 13:5 “Keep your life free from love of money, and be content with what you have, for he has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” And Timothy 6:10 said,” For the love of money is the root of all evils. Yet, through this craving, some have wandered away from the faith and pierced themselves with many pangs.”
**He made the sun rise every day so it will give us life to live, the trees to bear fruit, to witness all the beauty of His creations, and to give us a healthy body.
Sunlight is essential to the earth. Without the heat and light of the sun, it will be cold. As mentioned in the Bible, when “God created the heavens and the earth, the earth was in total darkness without form and void.” No living things will survive in the cold. Sun gives energy to plants, trees, and other living things and provides food for us to eat and air to breathe.
**Aside from the moon that lightens the night, the moon stabilizes the earth’s rotation; without it, the moon will wobble as it rotates. How great God is! His perfect creation cannot be doubted. The distance of the earth from the sun and the moon from the earth and the sun and the moon are so perfect, and God’s perfection and supreme power did these all.
Imagine if there was no God that did all of these. We will not survive without exception, die, and later turn into dust. “By the sweat of your face, you shall eat bread till you return to the ground, for out of it you were taken; for you are dust, and to dust, you shall return.” Genesis 3:19
“All flesh would perish together, and man would return to dust” Job 34:15
