God’s Involvement in Human Activity
There is no doubt in mind that when Paul claimed his encounter with the risen Christ on the way to Damascus to persecute more Christians, it gave me sparked in my mind to think that the risen Lord came back as he promised of his coming soon—(Story of Paul on the way to Damascus -Acts 9:3–8. Paul may be the first to witness the Lord Jesus’ return. What can we say except that if Paul lies, he meets the Lord Jesus? And later, after that encounter, according to Paul, he saw visions and revelations of the Lord Jesus, a personal revelation of Paul- Galatians 1:11–12. And a revelation and vision of the third heaven—2 Corinthians 12:1–10.
Paul was shaken to think how God was involved in human lives. Paul’s spiritual advice to the churches or community of believers is similar, if not precisely the same, to God’s intent for humanity to prepare for the homecoming at an unspecified later time. Paul invites all people who hear his message to set their watches according to God’s time, which is the time that has come, and to be prepared.
We are called to be mindful of our new position as a new creation. If we ignore this opportunity, the uncertainty of having our Christian living be unchanged and dominated by the present evil age and not the new age in which people must acknowledge and focus on the new creation age. If we are aware of God’s purposes for being a new person, Jeremiah has a message for us; “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” (Jeremiah 28:11). Being a new Creation is just one stretch away to be born from above, an approach by Jesus Christ which is more spiritual.
Through Jesus Christ, we are working together with God’s will and purposes, which bring a greater hope in the restoration and the future transformation of our bodies—Yahweh says, “I have answered you in an acceptable time. I helped you on a day of Salvation. I wi l preserve you and give you for a covenant of the people, to raise the land, to make them inherit the desolate heritage.”— Isaiah 49:8 (World English Bible).
He has swallowed up death forever! The LORD Yahweh will wipe away tears from all faces. He will take the reproach of his people away from all the earth, for Yahweh has spoken it. Isaiah 2:8 (World English Bible). To God be the glory.
