Building the Kingdom
We are called to build the Kingdom.
Hillel the Elder stated that whosoever destroys a soul is considered as if he destroyed an entire world. And whosoever that saves a life is considered as if he saved an entire world.”
What is the Holy Bible in your Word? Is the Bible a living word with soul and spirit, or just another book of Philosophy?
Christian leaders must walk by example and talk with purity, not elite-centered and self-righteous, to encourage unity among believers and bring the Word of truth to the unbelievers. Discourage the hearer from deceitful tongue and sweet promises using the Word and inducing fear into one’s mind. In general, “What is hateful to you and will destroy the body, do not do it to your fellow believers or non-believers. “Hillel’s quotes
Treat everyone with honor and dignity “if the person deserves to be honored,” or keep your distance in silence, this is living in the real world, and it counts. We have a saying, “Tell me who your friends are, and I will tell you who you are.” When they received condemnation, you might be mistakenly condemned too.” Paul or St Paul was very vocal, saying,” What fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness, what communion has light with darkness.
The Word of God has already been preached throughout the world, and leaders or non-leaders of this generation should already know what Paul or St. Paul means when he said to the Corinthians to “Avoid confrontation that will only lead to confusion of the hearer and be a judge when arguments become sour.”
Love God in secret is more divine than loving your neighbors; whoever they are in public is more pleasing and can influence others to do the same. Showing care is not enough to define Love; helping others sometimes can be misinterpreted as a weakness to the one being helped; people are embedded with pride or ego. We have to consider that too.
Hillel also quotes, “If I am not for myself, who is for me? And being for myself, what am ‘I’? And if not now, when?” Loving God in His wholeness and loving your Neighbors as yourself is a commandment of Love which is the will of the Father.
For leaders, you are accountable to your flocks, to gather them in unison; their growth relies on your shoulder, and their future to be a great leader depends on you. A good leader produces good followers, who will become better as they grow from your leadership.
Non-leaders who desire to learn the Word of Truth avoid being deceived. Instead, join a Bible study, and attend a Sunday school. Asking questions is more significant than just listening; it measures the penetration of that knowledge and understanding as you grow to His Word daily.
Open the Holy Bible as often as we open our email. Share the Word of God to the best of our knowledge as often as we share something on our FB account. Share what inspires and motivates us, our successful adventures, and not our misadventures. We all have a mission in life, try to discover it, and you will find it with the help of the Almighty God and the Son Jesus, our 2nd Adam.
God said,” trust me, and I will give you rest,” meaning you can lean on God.
To God be the glory.
