Breath of Life

God is a Spirit, and the Spirit of God is the Breath of Life.

God is a Spirit, and He is the Spirit of life. God’s breath is given to give life to all humanity, believers and non-believers alike, with the condition to obey His plan and purpose. John 3:16 is crucial for non-believers, and those who cannot or do not obey or believe due to their culture and tradition will be dealt with in due time. It is between them and God, not for us to judge or witness. God’s written words serve as guidelines to find the truth, why we are here today and gone tomorrow. Why does hate exists and wicked things happen to good people? Why do life challenges keep coming back, and we struggle so hard to beat them? Why do worries, fear, and anxiety interfere with the peaceful living? God hates religion, and yet we choose to join one of them? Why money exists when it causes evil to triumph? Why are humans not born equal with a golden spoon? Why do the powerful continue to dominate the unfortunate?

With all these confusions,  we are still blessed because we know that we have God and to live with God is to live under His wings that will lead us to His kingdom.

All Scriptures are breathed out by God, which can be used to teach so knowledge about His plan and purpose can be acquired and shared profitably. We can reproof or rebuke something unacceptable and make a correction if there is any misinterpretation. The Bible was written perfectly for imperfect human beings, and this word of God can be treated as a love letter to train and discipline us to righteous well-being. The word of God will equip every good work and strengthen us to fight a good fight of faith.

Let love be genuine with a  pure heart; let no evil distract our righteous path, and when we hold fast to what is good, no bad things can interfere with making us fail, and likewise, no evil could shake us. We are protected and strengthened with the Armor of God because God provides us with the armor we need to fight these spiritual battles. Ephesians 6:10-18 — Meditate and use it: the Belt of Truth, the Breastplate of Righteousness, the shoes of peace, and the Shield of Faith;  The Helmet of Salvation, the Sword of the Spirit. Therefore, since this battle never ends, we should always be prepared and wear these protection nights and days. Sins that cling to the dust of the earth will never have a life to survive unless we embrace them and spare room in our hearts. We are surrounded by deceit, lies, and temptations waiting for the right time to submit and become victims like them.

Jesus Christ endured the cross, despising the shame and defeated death, and now he is seated at the right hand of the throne of God, watching us how we treat the Holy Spirit he requested to live with us. But unfortunately, many still do not acknowledge the work of the Holy Spirit within us. Not knowing the goodness of the Holy Spirit within us leads us to be continually under attack by the evil Spirit, deprived of their sleep unless they do wicked things.

James, the brother of Jesus, said, “Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds, for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness. And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing….”

The most common sin is lying, and we lie almost every day. God hates all kinds of liars.   Only a liar says he has not sinned or knows God while disobeying His commandments. Those who say he loves God but hates their brother are liars (1 John 4:20).

In John 15:26, Jesus says of the Holy Spirit: “But when the Helper comes, whom I will send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth, who proceeds from the Father, he will bear witness about me.”

Now you heard it from the word of God that the Holy Spirit, who is with us today to guide and protect us, cannot fully function because of our rooted belief that Jesus, seated at the right hand of the Father, is still in charge. As a result, the Holy Spirit is being ignored, which causes the kingdom’s slow completion, which is still far from being understood and accepted.

God is all in all!
