Knowledge and Understanding of God
Worship Part 2- Worship is knowledge and understanding of God.
Cults, Occult, and World Religions have set their own doctrinal beliefs, either taken from the Bible or have their own practice using their ancient belief passed on from generation to generation, such as; supernatural, superstitious, and mystical beliefs.
There is a belief in multiple gods called polytheism, contrary to Christianity, Judaism, and Islam which only believe in one God, revealed to us by the Son Jesus Christ as a human and as a God.
Lord and Savior and the hope of rising again after death are the foundations of our confidence in Jesus Christ.
In Islam, Jesus was a messenger of God, but not the Son of God, a Prophet and not a Savior, while the Jews believe that Jesus is not the Messiah and a false prophet for failure to fulfill biblical prophecies.
Within the Christian community, some groups or denominations believe that Jesus is a prophet, if not a teacher but mostly united, interpreting the Book of Revelation as symbolic.
Paul’s works have a significant influence on the Christian religion. However, many have already settled on his teachings and do not want to talk about them, even in Bible Studies.
The best thing to do is if it doesn’t affect us physically, mentally, or spiritually harm us. Then, we can stay in a world where knowing the truth cannot be reached and could only harm us at the end of time when we are not able to enter the gate of heaven because of something we did in the past, the choices we made and the unsettled confusion that the Word of God is faithful.
As the scholars continue discussing the different values and messages of Jesus and Paul, it becomes very controversial to many seekers of the truth and those who do not want to settle for less. Jesus preached the kingdom of God, and P ul did not. Paul teaches justification by faith alone, while on Jesus’ side is justification together with work. Paul’s forgiveness is through Jesus’ Chri t (Ephesians 4:32: Colossians 3.12-13).
Jesus taught forgiveness through the Lord’s Prayer. After Jesus ascended, the work of Jesus was passed on to the apostles, who preached the work of Jesus Christ and not the identity of Jesus. Paul is about the redemption and resurrection of Jesus; it’s about Jesus.
What are we going to make up for these differences? Can the two differences come together? What if, then, when we reconcile these two? Will it solve the confusion? The messages of Jesus and Paul were fundamentally d different. One thing for sure will be in agreement is that both teachings lead to salvation.
Revelation is given to those who earnestly seek the truth of God and, according to the Bible, seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and everything will be added to you. This means the knowledge and understanding of Him and His word. So keep the faith, then follow the instructions as stated in Mathew 7:7-8 “Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye. Shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: For everyone that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh. findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be open d.” (KJV).
The Bible says that no secret will not be revealed, and when it comes during our time, God will let us know in many ways, and we do not have to worry about it. The key is to be closer to His word; always read the Bible and search for trusted commentary of the past. We must be aware that there are many that we may use and think is the right one, but it is not, and when in doubt, we must pray and ask guidance from the Holy Spirit to find the truth. God will send someone to bring us the good news when we least expect it, through visions and dreams sometimes.
Patience is needed as well as being humble and kind which will bring us closer to God’s revelation.
The Bible says that he created all things for Him and refers to Jesus. This may seem a bit controversial, making me think about the church in Colossae that Paul never visited. He wrote: “For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that is on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him. -Colossians 1:16(NKJV).
That is why I must find out and never cease seeking the truth. Who is Jesus? Is He God’s Messenger, a Prophet, a Savior, or a Creator? The answer depends o what denomination we belong to or our religion. Even those that believe in the Trinity have questions that need answers. This is the reason y God the Father gave us Freedom of Will.
We can search for all we want to find things for our satisfaction, but we must be aware that Free Will is not a blank check that we can do whatever we want.
Be reminded that there is a limit on how much we are allowed to know within the authorized limit covered within His Purpose and Will, and beyond that; it will be an abuse of discharging our freedom of will. If we use our free will in an abusive way, our protection will be released.
Likewise, our souls will e lost again and back to being under the watchful eyes of the adversaries whose sleep has been denied until they do evil things. We need a quick fix by praying, asking for forgiveness, admitting our fault, and trying next time to b careful in making actions and decisions that may lead to a broken relationship with God. Who knows what will be the return when we abuse our free will, and what will be the reward if we don’t
Matthew 6:24 says: “No one can serve two masters. Either you will hate and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both; you love and hate the other.” If we choose money over God, what do you t ink will result? Therefore, free Will plays an essential role in our life.
There is an unintentional mistake, and there is a willful mistake. We cannot make both mistakes at the same time. This is very clear. It is our choice regardless of the consequences or effects it will bring. Free will doesn’t mean being free to make the wrong choice. It is free to make a careful choice. “According to His word, “seek first the kingdom of God and His righteous ss, and everything will be added unto you. Only the truth will give us freedom.” Although, as stated in Genesis 11, nothing we propose to do will be withheld from us.
This was the time when God gave mankind Free Will. This is when mankind is multiplying on the face of the earth and continuing with their evil thoughts. Choosing the God of Mercy and Grace is the right choice, and no one else besides Him, and the reward is priceless. He also gave us a choice when we believe the Son He sent so that through him the world may be saved, we will h ve eternal life, and if we don’t, we will perish.
It seems a condition with one definite direction, but it is still a choice we must make. The assurance of eternal life or perish and no claim where we are heading. It is like when we inhale and exhale, we feel it, but we don’t see it. Perish connotes gone forever. Like a balloon, when it pops, we feel the pressure, but we do not see the air that causes it. So what is our choice after all these illustrations?
It seems no other way but God’s way, and doubts no more but assurances that God is all in all. Therefore, we will freely worship God without any doubt hanging on our heads and no heavy load on our shoulders but joy and gladness.
One of the wills of God is to acknowledge His existence, and in return, worshipping Him will come like a wind touching our souls so His presence will be felt, which is a confirmation that our spirit is converted to His Spirit. Therefore, we should not ignore what Jude said about the last day, that people would follow their ungodly lust and cause divisions among believers.
Not having the Spirit of God, we have to keep ourselves in the love of God and wait for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to bring us to eternal life.
We should avoid faltering our faith, strengthen our relationship with Him, and be mindful that there are scoffers ready to devoid our spirit whose purpose is to complicate things in our minds by infusing different teachings for their gain.
We should not allow those ungodly people to enter our space and give time for their lies. We should always be on guard and try not to associate with any of these people for any reason and protect our relationships p, not to have even a dot of doubt that may lead us to be separated from the love of God.
We should be like the Bereans that when they heard Scriptures new to their ears or new interpretations, they did not argue but instead, they searched for the truth.
