Letter To The Hebrews

Good News of the Epistle to the Hebrews Series Part 4

Gospel 11C – Good News of the Epistle to the Hebrews Part 4

It is made pure and clear that the future of God’s people to be with him on the new earth is through the rulership of Christ. However,  our excellent preparation for this event as a church was not done many centuries ago because of people’s lack of understanding and focus on believing in the one true God. Humans are blinded by many false teachings that cloud their minds and lead to concentrating on pointing fingers at the Antichrist, 666, The Mark of the Beast, Women and the Dragon; Woman clothed with the Sun and all the Seven things. Trumpets, seals, bowls, kings, kingdoms, and so forth can not be controlled by human efforts as we are just spectators of future event if it happens during our own time.

It is more spiritual than natural that our physical involvement is to keep in unity with the Spirit and encourage everyone to call on the name of the LORD before this warning hits us. The Revelation of God encourages its original recipients to persevere and be resilient as they waited for God to put the earth in its actual existence before the world came under attack and overthrew the true church’s righteous work. We have a different situation than the generation before us because we are more knowledgeable and united in acknowledging that God exists and that His love, mercy, and grace gave us hope. We will then endure the attack until the apportioned time comes, and the devil’s wickedness will be eradicated; there will be no more corruption and injustices; everything will be restored from the beginning.

When God created us in His image and likeness, we were ignorant of Him and lacked knowledge of God and the Son. Now we are more aware that the Revelation of things to come is not from John nor of Jesus but God Himself the Almighty, the I AM, the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end, “who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.” Revelation 1:8 speaks the past, present, and future of the 7 Churches, which is us, with the assurance of Christ’s rulership who has made us a kingdom, priests to His God and Father with the promise that the faithful will be richly rewarded with own domain to the manage-A Kingdom.

It helps to read and meditate on Revelation 1:1-8— World English Bible (WEB). Then, as provided below, the word of God that will help you to be enlightened, the true seeker of the word of God, and wants to get closer to Him: as you read, feels His presence and hears the word of God from your heart.

Seven Churches of Revelation:

1 This is the Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave him to show to his servants the things which must happen soon, which he sent and made known by his angel[a] to his servant, John,

2 Who testified to God’s word and the testimony of Jesus Christ about everything he saw.

3 Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the words of the prophecy, and keep the things that are written in it, for the time is at hand.

4 John, to the seven assemblies that are in Asia: Grace to you and peace from God, who is and who was and who is to come; and from the seven Spirits who are before his throne;

5 and from Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the firstborn of the dead, and the ruler of the kings of the earth. To him who loves us and washed us from our sins by his blood—

6 And he made us be a Kingdom, priests to His God and Father—to him be the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Amen.

7 Behold, he is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see him, including those who pierced him. All the tribes of the earth will mourn over him. Even so, Amen.

8 “I am the Alpha and the Omega,[c]” says the Lord God,[d] “who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.”

Footnotes:

1:1 or messenger (here and wherever angel is mentioned)

1:7 “Behold,” from “ἰδοὺ,” means look at, take notice, observe, see, or gaze at. It is often used as an interjection.

1:8 TR adds “the Beginning and the End.”

1:8 TR omits “God.”

Other versions of the Bible omit the name of God, while others add something to fit the narrative. We have to pray for guidance.

This makes it clear that the Revelation of things to come, the end time, is from the Almighty, revealed to Jesus and instructed the Son to tell his servant John of the things to come. The Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end God. The seven days of creation are through His spoken word. He is the word, and He owns it. When God said let there be light, and there was light; when He said let us make man in our image and likeness, it came from his spoken word. God doesn’t need a helper to create something from nothing, so there will be no surprises; He announced to the angels that He will make man in their image and create them male and female. Also, be mindful that God was only with His angels and no one else.

Like any other book in the Bible, a revelation is an all good news. It guides us to do good things, like love one another, live in peace without envy and jealousy, help the poor in Spirit and material things, and share the word of truth without waiting for compensation. Live a life without regret since everyone, rich or poor, is experiencing their struggle. The best thing to remember is that wherever your treasure is, your heart will also be there. God sees our heart, and to keep it pure is to be mindful that God is with you wherever there is light in your heart. Stay in the light so darkness cannot overwhelm you. A dot of light is more than enough for evil thoughts to break. Sometimes we get distracted by how the end times are being presented to us,  that there will be a rapture without explanation, no warning, and sometimes we will hear that the tribulation is unbearable. These things control the mind and traumatize the members of the Body of Christ—The Church.

God is all in all.
