From the desk of: Bishop Joseph Vitug
Greetings to all,
The weapons of mass destruction have been invented; perfected and produced that can wipe out all life form in this planet. In these last days of mankind's existence, Jesus foretold how it would all end. After Jesus' gospel had been suppressed, replaced with a false gospel of men about a false Jesus, He said, "This gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in the entire world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end of this world come." This gospel now has been preached into every nation, as we are all aware.
It was to be at a time when for the first time in the history of mankind, the weapons of mass destruction were produced that could erase all humanity from the earth as described in Matthew 24:21-22. This also was to occur before the promised second coming of Christ as we continue in verse 29 -30 of the same gospel of Matthew. These prophecies have now definitely been fulfilled. The true gospel has been restored and has now gone in power into every nation on the face of the earth.
Supporting the work of God, our living Creator is the only Great God who can do everything because He is God. He is the only one that can pour out His blessings not only for our humbleness and generosity but for our stand to depend the truth. With the knowledge and understanding that was fulfilled in Daniel 12 prophesy, that in the last days, knowledge would be increased, yet with this amazing progress we are experiencing even more dismay and uninterrupted work of the world that is eating our soul, which will arrive at a final stage in the Great Tribulation ahead of us now.
With the inventions of advance weapons of mass destruction human life and every living things can be blasted off in this planet. God who loves the world so much that He will send again His only begotten Son Jesus Christ our Lord. This time in power and glory as Lord of Lords and the only King to rule and judge the living and the dead with all the power and might of the Great God and usher in peace, happiness and prosperity. We will all thank God that Satan existence will then be gone and his work will all be erased in the memory of the righteous that will possess an everlasting life and an everlasting joy with our Lord Jesus Christ our savior and our Father God who created us.
Are we prepared for the return of our Lord Jesus Christ? Will we escape the Great Tribulation soon to happen? Christ said to watch and pray always, that you will be accounted worthy to escape (Luke 21:36). Now is the time, a little time left of the end time. Every one of us must commit ourselves to support God's work, to fast and pray. God's work must push ahead not only today, tomorrow but forevermore. God is opening all doors in all type of media, internet and television that He may reveal to us His wisdom and the knowledge of Him. Help us walk through them. Praise and thank God, and pray for his Work.
Let not our church that we worship be underestimated or valued at lower degree by others because of our innocence or ignorant act or at worse is because we knowingly or with intention that we did it to hurt the church. Expect corrections from the members that will protect the congregation and humbly accept the circumstances that come with it. Go to our prayer room or the place where we communicate with God, then revisit our consciousness, meditate and audibly express that the real head of our church is our Lord Jesus Christ and not any position that this world has given us.
We should not be moved by our pride and prejudice but boldly show the confidence in the truth, that the church where we worship is the church of God and not the thought that it is the church of the people. We do not want to be branded as Jesters of the Christian faith or someone that is rumor happy and anger hungry individual/s whose intentions are to confuse the issue. We can build a church of the people and control all the labor and declare the work as God’s work but we may overlook one thing as it says in Psalm 127:1 “except the Lord build the house, they labor in vain that build it.”(Ps 127:1)
God is not building up His house based on resentment, bitterness and strife but of love, joy and fairness. When we lead the house of God with bitter feelings, enrage and revenge-seeking mind, arrogance and self conceitedness, then, this will lead to destruction of trust. That may result to doubt or suspicion of someone’s capacity to be leader. If we will not protect the interest of many how can we call our self a leader. Leaders need to obey the Lord’s commandments so they can set an example for others and be worthy to receive guidance from the Holy Ghost. Obedience shows love for the Lord.
John 5:30) I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me.
Jesus gave the Apostles a "blank check" to lead the Church as they saw fit under the guidance of the Holy Spirit. The New Testament writers mention elders, overseers and shepherds in reference to church leadership more than twenty-five times in the Gospels and the Epistles. Strauch writes, "In fact, the New Testament offers more instruction regarding elders than on any other important church subjects such as the Lord's Supper, the Lord's Day, baptism or spiritual gifts."
If correcting a mistake of a leader is infidelity or insubordination then what is this Word of God that leaders should serve the people they lead. In (Mathew 20:27) says “Whosoever will be chief among you, let him be your servant” (Mathew 26:29) “But I say unto you, I will not drink henceforth of this fruit of the vine, until that day when I drink it new with you in my Father's kingdom.
Unity is essential for success in every organization of the Church. More will be accomplish when they are unified and counsel together. Understand and agree upon each responsibility. Avoid Usurpation of authority.(JOHN 17:20-23) Neither prays me for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word; 21 That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me. 22 And the glory which thou gives me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one: 23 I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me.
In deep gratitude and love, in Jesus' name.
