Prayer is the deepest function in our faith system. A tool of communication that was given to us to keep our closed relationship with our Lord through His Son Jesus Christ.
As it says in the Bible, trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not to your own insight is a spoken word, and we are clothe with the Armor of God to defend the wall of our kingdom of faith,, and struggle not to our hope and the miracle of love. The greatest weapon we possess will be so powerful and unto victory the enemy will declare us the unbeatable soldiers of God the Almighty. If we focus to love one another through faith and hope, evil thoughts and temptations will depart.
To grow with Him in prayers is the most delightful experience we could ever had. There is power in prayer, the power by which the Christian life is to be lived. Prayers strengthen our hope and equip us with understanding and knowledge of Him that provided all things around us. For He is the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. Amen.
Probably you already heard from some other congregation leaders, Christian teachers and/or preachers that there are ways to effective prayers. How is that so? All prayers are effective when your heart is full of faith, joy, trust, love, unshaken hopes that what you’re praying for will be granted. If you have all these pillars of our existence, look around and the answer is at hand.
God of our existence can provide all the answers to all kinds of request, all in positive ways. Sometimes a NO means a YES but we just don’t see the answer right in front of our eyes. Prayer heals our financial worries, it brings prosperity; health and wealth, and heals our physical, emotional, relationship with the family, friends, work and the whole nine yards. Struggling in our spiritual whereabouts, we can name all our prayer requests that we think of and all boils down to selfishness not selflessness. What I want, not what they need, what I needed and not what they wanted.
Our Lord Jesus Christ thought His disciples how to pray. A very simple and non babbling, short and not long, meaningful and not lustful prayer. Prayer brings us to a wonderful relationship with the LORD and we can experience our personal relationship with Him through fervent prayer, sincere and no malice, from the heart and not from the mouth. God looks in our heart not what we wear, not the flowery words we are saying; whether kneeling, or standing will not add flavor to His preferences and understanding of your requests.
If we believe in our hearts that there is power in prayer and worship then say it in spirit. God is a Spirit. Through Him, in Him with Him and upon Him all glory are yours Oh LORD now and forever. Amen.
My children, be attentive to my words; incline your ear to my sayings. Do not let them escape from your sight; keep them within your heart. For they are life to those who find them, and healing to all their flesh. Proverbs 4:20-22.
All Christians are ministers of the Word and as Christians, we can form new lives, we can recover from afflictions, we can be victorious to any form of spiritual battles, we can mend a broken heart. We are confident to win, for we are the head and not the tail. We are the brain and not just a thought, we are real and not an illusion, we are optical not virtual, we have the strength for we know the Word, we have the courage because it is the Will of God, Who else will be against us if they know that the LORD is in us, with us and upon us.
