Power of Prayers Part 1 – Corrected 9/27/19 published 9-28-2019

Prayers can do many wonderful things and considered to be part of our lives. As believers of heavenly things we believe that prayer saves, heals, discerns and shows miracles. So, we should not just ignore or forget to pray. Jesus taught his Disciples how to pray, King David prayed to ask for forgiveness and many more characters in the Bible that did the same thing. For any circumstances give thanks to the LORD—PRAY

Prayer is a commandment God would be worshiped above all else.
Prayer is a request to God for something on our behalf.
Prayer is a food for thought that fills up our hungry spirit.
Prayer is the medium of communication between us and God.
Prayer is a token of thanks to our Almighty God.
Prayer is a commitment in praising God.
A prayer is an act that can separate good and evil deeds.
Prayer can strengthen us from fear in losing our souls.
Prayer is a defense against any temptations.
Prayer clears our mind with worldly thoughts.
Prayer magnifies our horizon that leads us to the right direction.
Prayer may lead us to things we never knew before.

If you believe that God is the name of the LORD (“the I AM”) and the great provider of all your needs, then you submit all your wickedness and not use the name of God in vain. Many people now are using God not as a name of God we worship but just a worldly expression. Before, in my early age I heard people saying when they see something bad things happen “My goodness?” Now it’s “OMG”. I cannot even write it in full words due to my respect to the Holy Name of our LORD God. Many changes happened in our generation that it became a part of our way of living. I still remember before, people were greeting fellow believers “may God be with you”. It became “peace be with you” then change to “peace” then later making a “V sign” which was replaced with “God bless you” and now it was shortened to “God bless.” You can say it in utterance, by an act and any form of greetings as long as you do it for the LORD. There are various explanations to all of these but I leave it up to you.

If we submit our freedom of will to the Holy Spirit before we make any crucial decision or action, we may get a fruitful and profitable reaction. Submission, repentance and confession are part of the truth that we believe in. When we humble ourselves and acknowledge our fault, God is faithful and just to forgive us. We do not need an arsenal of prayers to be heard by the Father and we do not need either a repetitive or long flowery prayers. It is a must in public prayers to avoid prayer edifying oneself. We pray in public to lift up one another to the LORD.

“You do what is right, will you not be accepted? But if you do not do what is right, sin is crouching at your door. The desire is to have you, but you must rule over it.” Genesis 4:7 New International Version (NIV) On Part 2 "Jesus the Son of God made a Way for us to know the Father (LORD). We will not be able to enter the kingdom of heaven if we will not follow the Father’s Will, Jesus said that. What is the will of the Father then? Will there be a reward? yes there will be a reward.

Prayer Part 2- An Act of Obedience
Prayer is the deepest function in our faith system. It is the medium of communication between us and God. It is given to us to keep our close relationship intact and continue to develop a more fruitful understanding of Him and through the reconciliatory work made by the Son this entire experience happened. Prayer is one of the powerful weapons God gave us. When a disciples asked Jesus “Lord, teach us to pray, they were all satisfied and never asked to teach them another prayer. It never had been more important for God's people to be on their knees, pray while standing, or lying in bed.  If position in praying is that important Jesus would have said it.

Prayers are definitely heard by God because He knew our parents had prayed for us while we were still in our mother’s womb. Prayer initiates the beginning of our relationship with God and the ultimate way of building a closer distance with Him. When Seth the third son of Adam grew up, he had a son and named him Enosh. That point in time people first began to worship and call on the name of the LORD.  Whether our prayers are answered or not, we are sure it is not being ignored by God.  We should always be achievable beings ready to share the good news of our Lord Jesus about the message from the Father that the kingdom of God is at hand. Let us help together in bringing God’s fullness and wholeness to the universe which could only happen when we totally submit to Him in one spirit and purposefully defeat our sin nature.  We are in a battle of the mind since the beginning of our time here on earth and only in survival mode because of the work of the life force— The Holy Spirit.

We cannot deny why prayer is so important. The Bible begin calling on the name of the LORD in the first book of the Bible and closes its chapter in prayer in Revelation 22:20 Even so, come, Lord Jesus. From the beginning until the end it is the prayer that makes this love letter from our LORD the main source of contact with our Creator—The Father of all creations.

The Bible says: Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not to your own insight, is a revered spoken word.  It may not be cleared to you at this time but it will come a time that the kingdom which Jesus taught during his ministerial work on earth has already been put in place in everyone’s heart and at the same time clothed with the Armor of God that may cause burden to tempters that imply wickedness to your mind. The wall of the kingdom we have to defend is the kingdom we already have since birth and made it known to you at this time and all you need is to believe or to ask a true learned individual when in doubt.

During the church age many early Christian fathers made their own opinions regarding doctrinal views. The great schism is the split of a group of believers due to a difference in beliefs. Two great church reformers split in doctrinal views but both co- exist at the same time. We will take this topic in length after we finish our series on prayers. Either we call prayer a kind of worship, rites or ritual as long as you are doing it for the LORD it cannot be charge against you as an ungodly act. If we follow the pattern on how Jesus Christ taught his disciples will contribute to the fullness of a prayer the pattern is called ACTS which I mentioned before. When Jesus rule the earth with his righteous people it could be you as one of the elect that will take part in witnessing the stars in its glorious bodies.

Our hope will be greater and our faith will be stronger that will eventually produce the true meaning of love which undeniably be the weapons to suppress the evil mind. The evil spirit will then realize that the love they know is not love at all, but a possession and obsession of hate! When someone shows you some hatred, just ignore it and in return show them some patience and respect and walk away.  The Bible said that when someone throw a stone at you give them back bread; instead of fighting back give them something that they can nourish and they may learn from you the goodness and joy of being loved (respect). When we criticize someone of their act we should be ready to be criticized too. The best thing to do in the presence of criticism is turn to prayer instead of being attracted to pay attention. There is an often used expression that those who live in glass house should not throw stones. When you let Love work with your emotion it will prevent you from going low.

Love our enemy will be the greatest defense we possess and will be so powerful that will lead us to victory till they put hate under their sole and harvest love instead. Love is patience and when we pray instead of talking back to the enemy exchanging words, we allow ourselves to enjoy the pleasure of being patient and patience is virtue. Prayer can make someone to have a change of heart and one day may come to you by surprise that the enemy you talk before becomes a well spirited individual and follower of good news and belong to the soldiers of the Almighty. Angels rejoice when someone is saved. It is a great achievement for any individual to save a lost soul and rewards goes to both of them then join the many believers to be part of a good universe and gain the heart of the LORD. “For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him”—John 3:17

When we focus to love one another through faith and hope, evil mind, lies, deceptions and temptations will depart from the face of the earth and the kingdom of heaven will be felt and visible to everyone that made it. The sovereign power of the word of God will be our soul’s desire. Prayer is the only way to fill our hunger for peace and prosperity, protection and guidance and it is proven when you call on the name of the LORD He listens.  Jesus prayed, King David did pray, King Solomon, the kings, the prophets so many to list and all were heard by the Almighty. We cannot ignore to pray as it has its own power. When Jabez prayed to expand his agricultural territory, God answered his prayer; King Solomon prayed asking for knowledge and understanding he received more than that, he received the wisdom of God. It is proven and there is no doubt about it—Pray.

Let us call on the name of the LORD to give us peace on earth sooner than later. We need to pray not only when we are in distress, when the going gets tough, when things seem to fall apart but also when things are going well, when life is worth living, when everyone recognize that life is beautiful when we pay attention in doing good things. Good work begets good results. Vegetables beget vegetables. With our prayer God will be pleased.  When we ignore to pray we ignore about Him. We experience God talking to us through His spoken words and through that word of truth; we grow the knowledge of Him. Paul in his letter to the Ephesians told us that God desire is for us to pray “on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests” (Ephesians 6:18).

“But I gave them this command: Obey me, and I will be your God and you will be my people. Walk in obedience to all I command you that it may go well with you.” Jeremiah 7:23  (NIV)

Power of Prayer 3 -Act of Submission and Dependency
People are motivated to pray when they want something from God. Is that what the Bible says the reason why God wants us to pray? Jesus provides clear instructions when it comes to prayer. In what is perhaps His most well known public address, Jesus shared his Sermon on the Mount and become known to us as The Lord’s Prayer.

Let us pause for a moment of our needs and join us in praying Jesus original words the “Lord's Prayer now”

Our Father, who art in heaven,
hallowed be thy Name,
thy kingdom come,
thy will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those
who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom,
and the power, and the glory,
for ever and ever. Amen.

Jesus’ prayer emphasizes a prayer to praise God, to submit to the will of God, to lean upon Him for daily needs and our request for forgiveness and deliverance. We have to focus more unto the Blesser than the blessings; to the Promiser and not to the promise. Jesus’ prayer focuses on honoring God and our salvation than the needs which our great provider will give us on His time and without delay. God is the sustainer of all our needs and not a provider of what we want. Though sometimes what we wants turn into needs and that is something we have to thank Him for.
If "the Father knows what you need before you even ask Him” (Matthew 6:8).

Why do we have to ask if God already knows what we need? If we got what we want without even asking, what would you do? Will you still depend on Him? Will you still try to grow with Him? Will you still seek His face? Many people that succeeded in life think that their success comes on their own hard work and owes no one and when they failed they have to blame someone if not himself.  You  should not be hard on yourself, our culture dictates it, everyone is convince that when we work hard we can be self sufficient but that doesn’t mean that our spirit of humility will come to pass. People’s attitude is that the more we succeed, the more we want to be closer to God; but it doesn’t work like that, Life has ups and down and that’s how our love for Him can be measured.“Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.” Philippians 4:6 (ESV).

We do not own anything permanent in this earth even our flesh is just a borrowed vessels our real home is where God is and He wants us there, so do not be self conceited, egomaniacal person or hard hearted person humble yourself and pray. King Solomon in his advance age declared that he has seen everything that is done under the sun, and all is vanity and a striving after wind; Life is meaningless, that all his substantial wealth and assets earned from hard work will only be left to someone that doesn’t have a part of this hard work. Why it is so hard for the rich to face the reality that life begins and life ends. Has alpha and omega, life is not forever it has to end somehow?

We should listen to King Solomon, the King that prayed to God and receive knowledge, understanding and wisdom of God. He was blessed by God and enjoyed his youth, but now in very old age it seems that He cannot just leave the world without saying what he felt “vanity of vanities all is vanity; life is vanity. William Shakespeare’s quote “The world is like a stage where men and women play a certain role: there is an entrance to the stage and perform what they are assigned to act and exit the stage when they finish doing their part. Now that the king is in advance age and the play has to end and the curtain has to come down; like Job, King Solomon declared that life is nothing without God; God's laws must be kept, whether keeping them results in happiness or sorrow. “Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.” Philippians 4:6 (ESV).

Prayer requires us to admit our dependency to God and perhaps we also humble ourselves to admit that we don’t quite know everything and still need guidance and the right mind to understand it all. According to Scripture, God is all knowing and his understanding has no limits. “Great is our Lord, and abundant in power; his understanding is beyond measure.”(Psalm 147:5). Our daily journeys are filled with distractions, expectations beyond imagination and satisfaction cannot be completed with our demands and sometimes it is impossible to be filled. The moment we realize that we cannot have it all, it is time to admit and acknowledge that there is only One who knows it all and can do it all.

We should not let God wait for our moment to say “God, is our all in all” It should not happen that way, without any hesitation, we should profess our faith in God and confess that He is our all in all and go in a silent place where w are commanded and meet God the Father like Jesus often go to places where he can pray without distraction (Luke 5:16). Jesus is always connected to the Father through prayer, so should we? Jesus told us to “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with your entire mind.” Luke 10:27

How can we stay connected with the Father if we will only speak to Him (LORD) when we need something? How can we say we love the LORD if we only speak to him rarely? And how can we justify that we love Him if we do not even speak to Him at all? Some people speak to their love ones and avoid speaking to others they hate which is natural to human but may affect their spiritual walk with the commandments of love not being followed. Isn’t it that we are commanded to “But to you who are listening I say: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you.”—Luke 6:27-28

Faith, hope and love can make a strong relationship with the LORD and can deliver us from selfishness and arrogance to selflessness and humbleness and through prayer we grow more confident that God will provide whatever our heart desires and our hope will not come out void and empty. Constantly calling on His name to adore Him and thanking Him is a great way to show our gratitude and to acknowledge that without Him we have no one to depend on. To know God in its fullness, we have to know what image we are made of; are we pure, faithful, humble and obedient? To find out that we are ready to meet Him we have to ask Him through prayer. It should not be coming from your mouth but from the heart. If you never experience praying from your heart, it is never too late to give it a try now and your prayer will be met with God’s delight. The prayer of the upright pleases him—(Proverbs 15:8). “For the LORD takes delight in his people; he crowns the humble with victory—(Psalm 149:4). Prayer is an act of humility that bears love and peace.

The will of the Father is to acknowledge His existence, praise and glorify Him through humility and love. Faith, Hope and Love are the center of His will. Together with the help of the Holy Spirit we will all rejoice the kingdom of God and His Christ. Jesus who guides us our way to salvation and messenger of the word of truth gave us hope of having a new life with the Father, when he reconciled us with Him and when everything is put under his feet, the Son Jesus himself will submit to His wholeness and fullness and the Father will be all in all. The Father wants us to be with Him throughout eternity.
When we obey the will of the Father, the reward will be precious and everlasting life in the kingdom of heaven. Amen

Prayer Part 4- Posture in Praying. CORRECTED 10/16/19
Many still believe that there is a certain position that should be done when praying. Many also believe that the right position in praying can get the attention of God and answers the prayer sooner than later. God will definitely answer our prayers. it could be A No and it could be very pleasant Yes. Yet it could come at a later time or God has a better way.  A No answer is definitely good for us.  We may not want the No answer but God has a better Yes for us.  God will respond to everyone either in a quick No or a quicker Yes but it will always be on His time and not ours. The reason for the delay is not because God did it so. It falls on our end and our fault of not having enough patience. Our fault for not understanding the grace of Christ is sufficient enough to overcome all obstacles during the time of weaknesses and hardships.

God is love and He does not need to prove that but we have to prove our side. We have to prove that we are worthy to be loved by Him. How? Do we have to go to church (building) to seek and fellowship with Him? Is it necessary?  How do we make our relationship with Him grow?  Do we have to pray because it is our responsibility or it is an obligation?  Do we need a third party to help us get the attention of God, like a priest or a minister, praying to a statue of a saint for help. There are also many believers that believe praying and using  the name of the Virgin Mary is a very powerful way and a right way to reach God to hear our prayers faster.  Is it the right way?

Praying a certain position, praying with intercession, praying in a congregation and even praying in our own or rented house do not matter as our God is not demanding something from us that we cannot keep.  God is a Spirit and must be worshiped in Spirit and we can talk to Him through our heart. We can say that the mind is used  for thinking and reasoning but when a pure heart speaks, the mouth delivers in silence or in a loud voice and it speaks the truth. Whatever is in your heart the mouth speaks!  And through the ear the mind listened, what the eyes sees the mind envision. God knows how human deals with an obligation that is why it is not an obligation but responsibility. Jesus Christ taught that prayer is not something that we do when we feel like doing it.  It is a God given responsibility; Luke 18:1- Jesus told his disciple in parable that they should pray always and not give up. While Paul said that Christians should Devote to prayer with an alert mind and a thankful heart.- Colossians 4:2; Paul added to pray without ceasing which means to constantly pray. God uses prayer to instruct and give us blessings Matthew 7:7 (Ask and it will be given to you).

Hard work is one way to please God but a person not helping those in need, even though they are able to help is a sin. Slothfulness is a sin.  So when given a responsibility and because of laziness we sometimes do not do it.  We are then held liable for a sin against God and this sin separates us from the love of God. We can be part of the obligation to help if we could,  not only because we are Christian but by representing the image and likeness of God. Obligation does not mean we are morally or ethically liable.   We become liable when we make a commitment or vow to God, then our freedom of will is not a good excuse for not being accountable but our obligation becomes a responsibility.  It is our obligation as a whole to make this earth a joyful and loving place to live but not only a responsibility of the few. English.stackexchange.com define Obligation is simply a mandate to do something that does not connote any moral or ethical dimension.

Kneeling, sitting, standing, raising your hands, clasp your hand and any position you are comfortable do not matter. Praying is not being treated as a sacrificial act, but honoring God’s goodness and faithfulness, requesting God a favor, thanking Him for He has done and to ask forgiveness for a sin we may have committed. For we all sinned and fell short of the glory of God.  What is important is the condition of our soul that our heart is without blemish and attuned to God. God love fellowshipping with His children. Jesus prayed in different posture; sitting standing,  kneeling while Moses often fell on his face to pray, King David sat before the LORD and pray. Prayer can be done in the institutional church where God is being honored.  Philemon’s house was mentioned by Paul, in the Temple mentioned in Matthew 21:13. We will expand our knowledge in the House of prayer referencing the Old and New Testament for more clarity. Houses and other places are being used to pray, worship and fellowship with the LORD.

Wherever we are, we can seek God’s face.  Whatever we  are doing, we can call on His name, no days or nights, no mornings or afternoons, He will always listen to us. As we wake up for a new day, we wake up with Him and we must allow our mind  flow firstly to thank Him for a refresh body and a renewed spirit and when we retire for the day of work, we must give Him thanks for the guidance and for keeping us safe the entire day.   Before going to bed for a restful night, we must make a confession and ask for forgiveness.  If we say that we have not sinned, we are deceiving ourselves and the truth is not in us.  We must make it a habit to pray before any meal,  thanking God for what He has provided us and pray before we lay down to bed and utter this in peace “I will lie down and sleep, for you alone, Lord, make me dwell in safety”—Psalm4:8

When we pray from the heart, we pray in the Spirit and not of our own but with the help of the Holy Spirit. Jude 20 said it this way; “But you, dear friends, by building yourselves up in your most holy faith and praying in the Holy Spirit.” Praying is the ultimate way to get in-touch with God and through His word He can communicate back with us—The Bible

The flesh only reaches to praying in a moment when there is fear of uncertainties, in such situation as citizen’s unrest, insecurity, lies dominating our daily lives from influential people in the government and wealthy people that control the industries; the written and broadcast media, the economy and uncontrolled corruption by the powerful.  There will be  many stressful days and nights that our only way out is to speak to God and ask for help. In that type of situation, who else can we turn to when there is nobody else we can trust. There are people that sacrificed their lives for others but not being known to.

God is our fortress and to grow with Him is to develop our relationship with Him through prayers and love by speaking to Him heart to heart.  The will of God is to love one another.  We pleased Him and we make ourselves happy. The power of prayer can lead us to knowledge and understanding of Him. We will know Him better and may give us the spirit of discernment that may culminate the wisdom of godly accomplishments. There is power in prayer and there is also power of love. This power should not be used more than what it is meant for.  We cannot use prayer to do harm or curse someone nor do we not pray because we want to request something for our own personal benefit.  We pray because we want to feel His presence, the joy that His Spirit brings to our soul, the love that refreshes our heart and the life that the Spirit gives.  When it comes to the power of love it comes into two different directions without the leading of the Holy Spirit, otherwise, it may go the wrong way.

God is a Spirit but has a heart that grieves when we do evil things. We cannot see Him, but yet we can feel His presence; we cannot touch Him and yet He can touch us. When we sing His love songs, He sings with us, we feel His presence and sometimes when we inhale deeply we smell a sweet aroma of His breathe.  That’s how our Lord God manifests His love to us.

Oh LORD you are wonderful, magnificent in every way. When I smile I know you are smiling at me because you made me from your image and likeness and I know that you want me to be happy that is why when you made me, you made me with a smiling face—Smile
To God be the Glory

Prayer Part 5 – Answered Prayer Corrected 10-17-2019
The power of love can bring happiness and can also bring sadness; it can lead you to success and can also to failure. Love has many splendor things, we do not need to be a bird to understand how they sing, and you do not need to be a butterfly to experience being a caterpillar. In the world that we live is full of love but what kind of love? Love that our lust desires; money, position, influence, lavish lifestyle, power and many more all are evil in disguise. True love comes from True God and they are good and not part of what the dark side gives which is temporal.   Prayers strengthen our hope and equip us with understanding and knowledge of Him that provided all things around us.  He is the Alpha and the Omega, Which begins life on earth through His word and will end also by His word— the judgment.

You may already hear from various congregational leaders, Christian teachers or preachers that there are ways to effective prayers. They write books and publish to social media, they have Bible studies, convention and many more ways to promote whatever is it they are trying to sell. These are just a few ways in marketing their products. How is that so?  All prayers are effective when our heart is full of love, joy, trust, unshaken hopes in other words a clean or a contrite heart will not have obstructions to prayers. Answered prayer is a gift from God. He answers our prayers because of our obedience to His commandments or in short the “Will of God.” Follow Jesus Christ as he said, to go to your secret place and pray; are you doing that? When we communicate with the Father, have we asked God the reason why you are making that request? Did we even thank God after we pray?

Again, since God looks into our heart, do we have a clean heart and courage to ask God what we are requesting? Do we have a heart of forgiveness; a heart that is pure and without malice? Are we humble enough to his standard that He will listen to us? Have we confessed and asked for forgiveness that we have offended Him? Do we thank Him for what he has given us? We can go on and on and as if there is no end preparing ourselves to talk to God. God knows us even before our birth, but do we know ourselves like He does? We know that He will never leave us nor forsake us in times of need not in time of our wants. When we have all these pillars of our existence, we must go in silent room and meditate and fervently pray that we may find to know ourselves with the help of the Holy Spirit when our weakness overcome our strength in defending our faith. How long we have to wait to get an answer? Can I pray and ask the same request? How do we receive His answer?

Numbers are significant in Biblical interpretations and when we apply numbers according to His perfection, prayers can be answered in reference to His perfection and number 3 which is God’s divine perfection could be used.  Answers  could be receive three days or before the 3rd day, three weeks or before, 3 months or before the 3rd month to three years. There is no definite when it comes to time.  God is not bound by time nor can be pressured due to timing. God is outside of time; God exists before time He created time itself.  He has no short period or long period of time; to Him they are all the same. He watches us timelessly and there is no day or night either. When Peter said: “With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day.” Which he referenced from Psalm 90:4, We are not talking about prayer can be answered up to three thousand years, which will be deemed impossible for our borrowed vessels last way shorter.

God is not slow to respond to our prayer.   I believe that when we ask for forgiveness and our  heart speak the truth,  response is quick even before we finish our request, we  already have it.  Also consider when we are waiting for an answer, we must  try to look around and maybe the answer is at hand.  When Prophet Habakkuk prayed about the situation of his country he even prayed over again and asks for an answer not realizing that the answer had already been given. When you pray,  believe that you receive it and you shall have it. God of our existence can provide all the answers to all kinds of request, all in positive ways. Sometimes a NO means a YES but we just don’t see the answer right in front of our eyes.

Prayer heals our financial worries, it brings prosperity, health and wealth; and heals our physical, emotional, relationship with the family, friends, work and the whole nine yards. We need patience to avoid anger and stress that will cause to lose hope and be unhealthy. It could ruin our relationship with God that instead of patiently waiting for answers, we may get to wait much longer. Patience is a virtue it may overcome frustration. Being impatient can draw down to spiritual struggle and may lose heart and weakens our relationship with God. We must be sincere with our prayers because sometimes our prayer requests boils down to selfishness not selflessness. What I want and not what they need, what I needed and not what they wanted.

God spoke to Prophet Jeremiah and said: “do not pray for this people nor offer any plea or petition for them; do not plead with me, for I will not listen to you.”Jeremiah 7:16. There are prayers that need to be made directly by those people in need of favor from God and not by a third party or an intercessor such as a Saint, Priest, a Minister and that includes church prayer warriors. Prayer must be in-line with God’s standard.  If God does not conform to our prayer, it will not be transformed and we might end up waiting for nothing until we find out that it is on our end why our prayer is not being answered. When someone or a group of prayer warriors make a petition and the party being prayed doesn’t agree, will prayer works? Isn’t it that a petition prayer is with agreement? One of the key factors that our prayer will be answered is to let God know what we are asking and why?

Prayer heals our financial worries.  It brings prosperity,  health and wealth. It heals our physical, emotional, relationship with the family, friends, and the whole nine yards. We need patience and avoid anger and stress that may cause us to lose hope and may lead to unhealthy relationship with God. Patience is a virtue that overcomes frustration. Being impatient can draw down to spiritual struggle and might lose heart and weaken our establish relationship with God. Our soul might get lost and might not be able to find the right path to selflessness and instead we find that the spirit of selfishness has taken over. What I want and what I need is mine to keep mindset.

Our Lord Jesus Christ taught His disciples how to pray a very simple and not a babbling prayer, short and not long, meaningful and not lustful flowery prayer.  If we thought that we can get God’s attention by many flattering words, just bear in mind that God cannot be bribed.   Prayer brings us to a wonderful relationship with the LORD and we can experience our personal relationship with Him through fervent prayer, sincere and no malice, from the heart and not from the mouth. God looks in our heart not what we wear, not the flowery words we are saying and posture, kneeling or standing, even laying or sitting will not add flavor to His preferences and understanding of our requests.

If we believe in our hearts that there is power in prayer and worship, then say it in spirit. God is a Spirit. Through Him, in Him with Him and upon Him all glory can be yours through eternity as promise that He wants us to be with Him. "My children, be attentive to my words; incline your ear to my sayings. Do not let them escape from your sight; keep them within your heart. For they are life to those who find them, and healing to all their flesh." Proverbs 4:20-22. Oh LORD my LORD I believe you and understand you, forgive me for I have sinned day after day, I am sorry for being prideful. Amen.

Prayer Part 6—House of Prayer Corrected 10-19-2019
It is a common practice during ancient times where people can pray and worship God under the tent, on top of the mountains, any place wherever their heart desires. Jewish people can worship God anywhere as long as they have 10 people present while Christian takes only two; Matthew 18:20 says, “For where two or three have gathered together in My name, I am in their midst.” Prayer can be done by an individual to their private room as described in Matthew 6:6 while in public prayer as stated in John 11:42. Anyone can pray anywhere without ceasing, pray as frequent as you can—I Thessalonians 5:17.

Acts 2:46-47— the practice of meeting together aside from the temple; they also meet in their homes praising God and in Acts 20:20 they preach in public and from house to house. Meeting believers to praise God in their homes is biblically allowed. Christ body was the house of prayer himself and was talking (praying) with His Father continually and drawing strength from that intimate relationship with the Father especially when He was in his final completion of his mission on the cross to pay the price for us with his life.

Christ came and ministered to us the Kingdom of God and was falsely accused of blasphemy, humiliated, tortured, shed his blood, died and was buried for the forgiveness of all our sins. Through the Son we know who the Father is “For God so loved us, that He sent His only begotten Son, so he can show us the way to be saved, the truth of the word of God was delivered with authority and whoever believes that he is the Son of God will have the right to have a new life, born from above and a promise not to perish but have eternal life— John 3:16-17

There are good reasons to have house church where prayer can be held, we can dedicate our house rented or owned to be house of prayer or house of God. God is omnipresence, he is where we are, we can form a small group which can bring a greater intimacy compare to a bigger congregation, stronger ties, family like relationship, comfort and convenience, easy to establish a personal relationship with members and leaders as opposed to larger gatherings and most off all it is an advantage for the less fortunate that do not need to travel, dress to the level of the members and feel outcast. There are churches that cannot hide to favor the givers and some even at the middle of the service they will call the names of the favored.

The fact that large churches especially the mega church has difficulty reaching the Pastors on a personal basis, sometimes we end up watching from the monitor in an overflow room they usually organize small groups that meet in homes without the presence or involvement of the Pastors just the delegated leaders or the group elect themselves a leader. Without the supervision of a knowledgeable person, they might be learning a false teaching. Many if not all when a member is not favored by the Pastoral group they will not even make a visit when they are sick.

The house of prayer was first mentioned in the Old Testament in Isaiah 56:7 “For My house will be called a house of prayer for all the peoples” Other versions of the Bible use “nations” as group of people. In the New Testament Jesus quotes the passage from Isaiah “It is written, ‘My house shall be called a house of prayer; but you are making it a robbers den”— Matthew 21:12-13; Mark 11:17 and Luke 19:46. The church leaders and even the affluent members must treat all the believers in the same level, God will not be pleased when someone leave the congregation and walk out of faith for these reason.

House of prayer or house church must be lead by a learned individual in order to learn the truth of the  word and not just a guess work that might lead to blind leading the blind. We must also be aware that the word being preached is in-line with the Scriptures and not just lesson plans organize for their own personal gain. Plagiarism cannot be avoided but it should not be an issue when it is the truth, the truth must be preached. King Solomon, the man of God said: There is nothing new under the sun.  As a general rule, for works created after January 1, 1978, copyright protection lasts for the life of the author plus an additional 70 years. While in the U.S. the Copyright Act of 1976. only the copying of the work is prohibited--anyone may copy the ideas contained within a work.

Jesus Christ is a sinless Son sent by the Father accused of blasphemy and judged to die a horrible death, whose only mission is to share what the Father has told him to share with his own authority he offered the shedding of his own blood to wash out our sins and be forgiven. Through this blood the world has been saved and through him we became children of the most high the Almighty. For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, Jesus did save it.
How long the world will exist if we will continually sin? How long are we going to realize that without God we are nothing? And for how long are we going to submit to wickedness? Are we going to wait till God declare that enough is enough? Remember before the deluge God gave the people in Noah’s time 120 years to come back to Him and walk away from wickedness and they did not change and all perished except from Noah’s family of eight, that extend mankind’s life on earth. God is so graceful to us that for decades and the judgment is not handed down. We have to repent now with sincerity and be baptized by the Holy Spirit and be blessed.

Prayer is a perfect connection between the Father and the Son after everything has been said and done; modeling this form of connection with the Father is a must and just the right thing to do. Jesus the Son of God restored our relationship with the Father. Our body which house our soul is the house of prayer installed for us by the Son when we believe that he is the way, the truth and the life and promise that whoever obey the will of the Father will be his brother, his sister and his mother. The Son Jesus Christ our redeemer and brother restored and reconciled us to God and become children of God and as member of the family of God, our citizenship is not on this world but in the kingdom of heaven—Philippians 3:20.

All who believe that the word of God is true by the authority of the Holy Spirit we are authorize to minister and spread the word of God and stand witness of God’s goodness and glorious work to many people and form new lives, we can recover from afflictions, we can be victorious to any form of spiritual battles and can mend a broken heart.  We are more confident to win, for we are the head and not the tail.  We are the brain and not just a thought, we are real and not an illusion, we are optical not virtual, we have the strength for we know the Word, we have the courage because it is the Will of God, Who else will be against us if they know that the LORD is in us, with us and upon us. We are covered by His Spirit, guided and protected.

The will of the Father is to believe in His existence and obedience to His commandments with love and humbleness. God want us to Love Him, “I love those who love me, and those who seek me diligently find me.”Proverbs 8:17. And God’s wants us to keep His commandments which are not burdensome 1 John 5:3.

Our body is the House of Prayer, we are the church. After we receive Jesus Christ as Savior, we become the temple of the Holy Spirit. I Corinthians 6:19 says, “Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own.” The Church is definitely us our heart which was once a stone softened by the word of God through the guidance of the Holy Spirit becomes part of the Rock—The House of Prayer; as we assemble together in one accord praising God; any word that comes out of our mouth is an expression of prayer we should watch our mouth from then on and always ask for forgiveness when something bad got out of it.

Hebrews 10:24-25 puts it this way, “And let us consider how to stimulate one another to love and good deeds, not forsaking our own assembling together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another; and all the more as you see the day drawing near.” Peter added in 1Peter 2:5 said; “You also, as living stones, are being built up as a spiritual house for a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.” “Anyone who comes to him (God) must acknowledge that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.”Hebrews11:6(NIV). God will not leave us nor forsake us— Deuteronomy 31:8, and wants us to spend eternity with Him! God is with us wherever we go.”— Joshua 1:9

Philemon 1:1-2 “Paul, a prisoner of Christ Jesus, and Timothy our brother, To Philemon our dear friend and fellow worker— also to Apphia our sister and Archippus our fellow soldier—and to the church that meets in your home” Paul made it clear in this passage that the church is the people that can gather in a house to worship our Creator, the Father Almighty. God is everywhere and all knowing; acknowledge Him and He will give us rest (depend).

Jesus cited a passage from the book of Prophet Isaiah God says, “These I will bring to my holy mountain and give them joy in my house of prayer. Their burnt offerings and sacrifices will be accepted on my altar; for my house will be called a house of prayer for all nations.” a place where prayers would smell like sweet aroma from the hearts of the faithful to the presence of the living God. It is sad that it is happening until now that the house of prayer was being used by those who love the desire of their lust and continue to devour the pocket of the believers. These hypocrites continue to live in luxury at the expense of those that believe heartily in God but lack knowledge of the word of God because they heard a divided word of God—Isaiah 56:7.

God knows and nothing can be hidden to Him, in Jeremiah 7:11 God says, “Has this house, which bears my Name, become a den of robbers to you? But I have been watching! declares the LORD.” The prophet Jeremiah rebuked the temple leaders for abuses who take advantage of those who fear to offend God, Believers were being taken financial advantage by oppressing the needy, and they keep the collections as if they were given solely to them. What should have been a sanctuary for the righteous had become a refuge for the wicked, the temple of God was being rob and the house of prayer who saw all these things may start to walk away and be seen no more.

There is no doubt that the house of prayer was put to shame; a place to meet God and worship Him becomes a place for thieves who love using His name for their own glorious living. God saw all these abuses and promise to deal with these abusers when time comes. The Son of God was not going to put up with it and will be the faithful witness of all these corruptions.  Whether it’s the temple, the church, the kingdom we are all group of believers and we all belong to the faithful and merciful God and as long as we remain in God’s space we will be benefiting the Spirit of Life. We should honor God’s ownership and follow His will and purpose and any perversion will meet the LORD’s wrath. It’s always good to remember the LORD through the Son we are family and avoid quarreling about Scriptures to avoid confusion or doubt that the word of God is true and also remember that prayer has power of its own— stay connected.

“And then come and stand before me in this house, which bears my Name, and say, “We are safe”—safe to do all these detestable things? ‘ Has this house, which bears my Name, become a den of robbers to you? But I have been watching! declares the Lord.’ ‘Go now to the place in Shiloh where I first made a dwelling for my Name, and see what I did to it because of the wickedness of my people Israel”. Jeremiah 7:10-12 (NIV)

Thank you LORD Almighty, Thank you Jesus the mighty Son and Holy Spirit that dwells in us that made our body the house of prayer; how great it is to be loved by the Father and to be cared by the Son. How marvelous it is to be called Children of God.
To God be the Glory

Prayer Part 7- In Jesus name CORRECTED. 10-21-2019
Why do we have to mention Jesus name when we pray? Is that what the Bible told us to do? Is that the way and the truth to acknowledge the Son’s work? To whom are we to pray, the Father, the Son, or the Holy Spirit?
John 14:13-14 where prayer in Jesus’ name has been mentioned. “And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Son may bring glory to the Father. You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it.” Some treat this verse as a guarantee of granted request, thinking that saying “in Jesus’ name” at the beginning of a prayer and most of the time at the end will results in God granting the favor being asked. This may seems to be like an assurance of an answered prayer. Treating the words “in Jesus’ name” as the key to answered prayer is definitely unbiblical.

When we pray using the name of Jesus means we pray with His authority and asking God the Father to act upon it, because we come in the name of His Son, Jesus, thus giving the Father no choice but to grant the request. Is that the way it works? We cannot dictate God to give what we want by praying in Jesus' name. God answers prayer according to His will, his time and in conjunction with the purity of the heart of those who ask. Praying to anyone or anything other than God is idolatry. “I am the LORD; that is my name! I will not give my glory to another or my praise to idols” (Isaiah 42:8). It is also very clearly stated in Isaiah 48:11 that the LORD’s name is sacred “For my own sake, for my own sake, I do it, for how my name should be profaned? My glory I will not give to another”

“This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us.  And if we know that he hears us—whatever we ask—we know that we have what we asked of him.” (1 John 5:14-15). Praying in Jesus’ name is praying for things that will honor and glorify Jesus.

Saying “in Jesus’ name” either from the beginning or at the end of a prayer is not a supernatural command but for everyone’s convictions. Lord’s Prayer does not suggest attaching his name in prayer he taught his disciples. If what we ask for or say in prayer is not for God’s glory and according to His will, saying “in Jesus’ name” is with no effect and will not be charge to you or will be a burden for your prayer not to be heard by the Father. For Jesus himself said that “whatever the Father gave him in no way he will reject.”

What is important and acceptable is a pure and genuine prayer acknowledging Jesus' name as the Son of God who is faithful to finish the mission he was assigned to do and to the Father for all His love to His children; faithful to his word and His will to be with us forever. His glory is what is important, not attaching certain words either from the start or to the end of a prayer. It is not the words in the prayer that only serve as a flavor that matter, but the purpose and truthfulness behind the prayer. Praying for things that are consistent with God’s will is the essence of praying in Jesus’ name and not in any way taking the glory of God.

Praying in the name of Jesus is praying with His authority in asking the Father to act upon our prayers because we come in the name of the Son. It also means that we are exercising the authority of believing that Jesus is the same yesterday and today and forever. Do not be carried away by all kinds of strange teachings, for it is good for the heart to be strengthened by grace and not by foods of no value to those devoted to them” Hebrew 13:8-9. The same thing as we pray in accordance to the will of God. Our confidence with the assurance that guarantee that our prayer met the standard of God; never over doing nor under doing it, just about right to be humble in the eyes of God. “This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. And if we know that he hears us—whatever we ask—we know that we have what we asked of him” (1 John 5:14-15). We should pray for others, as well as for ourselves to recover from fallen state, as well as to be released from temptations and afflictions and be thankful that the spirit of true repentance overcomes death.

Praying in Jesus’ name is praying for things that will honor and glorify Jesus not withstanding taking the sovereignty of the Father. “For great is the LORD and greatly to be praised; He is to be feared above all gods.” God will not give His glory especially to idols. Many people today exchanged the truth about God for a lie and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator. If it is intentionally worded to bent the truth then it is a sin of lying, it is their worldly desire for their own profitable gain. They invented and twisted everything to make luxurious living at the expense of those people who submitted to their lies. Maybe this person doesn’t even believe that there are consequences after all or they don’t even care being a part of what they preach about life after death. “Thou shalt not use God’s name in vain” could also mean not to use the name of God for personal gain.

Will I not give - I will not allow it to ascribed to another; I will not allow another to assume or receive the honor which is due to me; Says the LORD. Isaiah 48:11—For my own sake, for my own sake, I do it, for how should my name be profaned? My glory I will not give to another. Isaiah 42:8—I am the Lord; that is my name; my glory I give to no other, nor my praise to carved idols. Those are the word of God.

Many believers already made up their mind about Jesus, Many said that he is the creator, some said that the Father and the Son is just one person, many even sold books that Jesus can be seen in the Old Testament, that Jesus is the one that help the Israelites in Egypt. There are many stories about Jesus pointing that he is God to be glorified that without him there will be no salvation. The Son himself said not to worship him and many Scriptures attested to that:
Exodus 34:14 (for you shall worship no other god, for the Lord, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God),
Exodus 20:1-3 And God spoke all these words, saying, “I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of slavery. “You shall have no other gods before me.

Matthew 4:10 Then Jesus said to him, “Be gone, Satan! For it is written, “‘You shall worship the Lord your God and him only shall you serve.’”
Romans 12:1 I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship.
John 4:24 God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth.”
Revelation 15:4 The testimony of Jesus Christ “Who will not fear, O Lord, and glorify your name? For you alone are holy. All nations will come and worship you, for your righteous acts have been revealed.”

We must be aware that every word that comes out of our mouth speaks the truth “By the sins of their mouths and the words of their lips, let them be trapped in their pride, in the curses and lies they utter.”Psalms 59:12. We can reach the highest peak of the highest mountain and still the LORD is above all. “May they know that You alone, whose name is the LORD, are Most High over all the earth.” Psalm 83:18. God is so great that He cannot be compared or measured with anything with anyone else (Psalm 71:19). His existence has to be acknowledged by His creations since He is the Creator of everything that exists and superior of them all. Every breath that we take, every space we occupied and every time that we use belongs to Him. He is bigger more than our imagination can make.

God is an Omnipotence which means God is all-powerful; Omniscience means God is all-knowing, God knows everything; He is Omnipresence means God is everywhere at the same time. He is the essence of all things, without Him nothing will exist. He cannot be under pressure to answer our request and cannot be confined to control His movement, He is all powerful. We leave in His space. His wisdom is greater than those who benefitted from Him and think they are now wiser that Him. It is foolish to say we are strong and when in reality we are weak in many things and helpless without Him.

How can we say we are strong when we are only dependent on His strength? How can we say we have a great mind when our mind still under siege by liars, deceivers and tempters? They can do evil things but they can only do it under a limited space and limited time. We can stop it any time with the help of the Holy Spirit and we are not doing it because somebody in high places will do it. We have the LORD which is our stronghold and our rock of refuge— Psalm 94:22.

We are in the age of the kingdoms and it is foolishness to this time not to recognize the true meaning of the word of God, His will that we have to obey, His plan to continue a good fight of faith and His purpose to be with Him through eternity. We should avoid doing foolish things to confound those who think themselves better than others. (Isaiah 40:13; 1 Corinthians 1:27). He is infinite and yet reachable, He has no time and yet He communicate with our time and we do not see Him and yet you can feel His presence. We should let the space in our heart belongs to Him alone and no one else in words or in kinds (Psalm 90:2).

Let God’s greatness echoes throughout the world day in and day out until the wicked submit themselves before they vanish in the face of the earth and there is no coming back. From lifeless soul to living souls, from innocence to a learned conscience too many lost souls who are dead to sin waiting for body to be born anew. God of all glory, Father of all creations, maker of heavens and earth will have all ears to listen to the testimony of our conscience and eventually look into our hearts and justice for all comes next.

Why do we have to mention Jesus name when we offer a sacrificial praise to God it is the way and the truth to acknowledge the Son’s work “Hebrews 13:15  “Through him then let us continually offer up a sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of lips that acknowledge his name.”
Hebrews 1:6  “And again, when he brings the firstborn into the world, he says, “Let all God's angels worship him.”
Colossians 3:17 “And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.”

1 Timothy 3:16  Great indeed, we confess, is the mystery of godliness: He was manifested in the flesh, vindicated by the Spirit, seen by angels, proclaimed among the nations, believed on in the world, taken up in glory.
Philippians 2:9-11 Therefore God has highly exalted him and bestowed on him the name that is above every name, so that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. At the end of our prayer we can acknowledge the Trinity—In the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.

“Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit-Matthew 28:19
“That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you a spirit of wisdom and of revelation in the knowledge of Him.” Ephesians 1:17
“The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit, be with you all.”  2 Corinthians 13:14
According to the foreknowledge of God the Father, by the sanctifying work of the Spirit, to obey Jesus Christ and be sprinkled with His blood: may grace and peace be yours in the fullest measure. 1 Peter 1:2
“But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit,’ ‘keep yourselves in the love of God, waiting anxiously for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to eternal life.” Jude 20–21 (NASB)

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16.

At the end of the service, we close it with prayer and the name of our Lord Jesus Christ will be mentioned to give honor and acknowledgement of all the things He has done for our salvation, his love and care. Sometimes we misunderstood the prayer when it ends in Jesus name only. Those made many think that the name of the Father has been omitted. As it is written “Do not worship any other god, for the LORD, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God.” We should not interpret it the wrong way, Jesus himself will neither usurp the authority of the Father nor transgress His command.

We should instead treat his name with respect and thanking him for being our savior and an eldest brother. will not be considered to be worshipping him. Jesus brought us into the knowledge and understanding of the Father. Through Him we know the Father and through Him, reconciliation happens. We should be delighted as the Father proclaim His delighted with Jesus  And a voice from heaven said, “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased!” Matthew 3:17
We must be cleared in our closing prayer that the hearer understands that the Father is still the center of our service so it may not sound that we are taking away the power and glory that belongs only to Him. Exodus 34:14(NLT)“You must worship no other gods, for the LORD, whose very name is Jealous, is a God who is jealous about his relationship with you.” Isaiah42:8 (NLT) “I am the LORD; that is my name! I will not give my glory to anyone else, nor share my praise with carved idols.

Jesus said that no one can come to the Father except through him. This word of Jesus shows the authority he has most probably allowed by the Father in conjunction with his mission here on earth. Jesus is an obedient son to the Father, so there is no transgression going in here. In 1Corinthians 15:28 Paul wrote:  For “God(Father) has put all things in subjection under his (Jesus) feet.” But when it says, “All things are put in subjection,” it is plain that this does not include the One (Father) who put all things in subjection under him (Jesus).

When all things are subjected to Him(Jesus), then the Son Himself will also be subjected to the One(Father) who put all things in subjection under Him(Jesus),  so that God(Father) may be all in all—1Corinthians 15:28. (Emphasis mine)
The steadfast love of the LORD never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness— Lamentations 3:22-23 (ESV)

To God be the glory

Coming soon – Many believe of the coming of the Son as 2nd coming, Do you still believe he is coming or he is with us long time ago? Who is coming on judgment day and who will be the witness? Did you try to seek the face of God? How much do you know God? Do you know who Jesus Christ is?, is he the Immanuel? Or he is Adam? Are these three names pointing to one? Who is the third person in the Trinity? Why Trinity is being part of the Christian doctrine when it is not visibly written in the Bible? Where is the Trinity in the Bible? Pray and believe that the truth will not come out void.

Why do we have to mention Jesus name when we pray? Is that what the Bible told us to do? Is that the way and the truth to acknowledge the Son’s work? To whom are we to pray, the Father, the Son, or the Holy Spirit?

Pray and believe that the word of God is true and will not come out void.  Amen.
