We are about to celebrate New Year ’s Day and at this time many are already talking about their New Year resolutions which is already a part of our tradition; Some would say they will start to exercise, will stop eating fast foods, processed food or fatty foods. No sugar or less sugar intake, no salty foods or snacks, in short, will be on diet. Few may come up with a resolution not to lie again to their parents, relatives and friends and even to their boss and co-workers. It is good resolution and we should not wait for New Year’s Day to start. As soon as you thought about it go for it!!

We should start talking about God, obedience to His Will, talk to God through the Bible, start walking with God by talking about His goodness, walk towards God and try to make your relationship with closer as you have not done before. When we enter into an intimate heart relationship with God through faith in His Son our Lord Jesus Christ (Hebrews 10:22), He becomes our hearts desire and the work of the flesh will not have power to interfere. It is hard to walk without Him and we cannot live without Him. There are many people before us that can prove it; like: King David, King Solomon and even Moses who lived before them acknowledge the existence of God and walk with God. Without Him we will feel that something is lacking, we feel not complete, there’s an emptiness in our heart.

This is the time if you miss Him those previous days, months even years in your life without noticing His presence, then it is never too late cause as long as we have that breathe of life, we have the opportunity to talk to Him and ask Him what you need and put aside what you want. To hear God's voice we must belong to God. Jesus said, “My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me” (John 10:27). Those who hear God’s voice are those who belong to Him—those who have been saved by His grace through faith in the Lord Jesus. These are the sheep that hear and recognize His voice, because they know Him as their Shepherd. If we are to recognize God’s voice, we must belong to Him. Acknowledge Him and He will acknowledge us and reward us of the things you never experience in this world as Prophet Jeremiah said: For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plan to give you hope and a future. 29:11.

If our desire is God’s love, we have it; if we desire to have a closer relationships with Him, we will have; If we want to be a partaker of His Spirit, then we need to express it not only by words but by deeds and the acceptance of His Son to our heart is necessary and the kingdom of God will be established in our heart even before thought of it.  If our thought brings peace, and not of evil, we can expect the most wonderful and glorious end.

Sharing our hearts with Him, seeking to please Him, seeking His truth will become our focus. He becomes everything to us. With us God (Immanu El) is not a one day a week meeting with Him, not reserved only for Sunday service or Saturday. We live to fellowship with Him, to be with Him and live in unbroken worship with Him. The only possible way we can be with Him and walk with Him is to fear Him, meaning not to offend Him in any way and in any kind that is against His will and start a new beginning, a fresh start. Forget the past, repent and be baptized by the Holy Spirit.

We need to understand His Word, rightly dividing the Word of truth and not putting ourselves to shame leaning to the understanding of men. The Bible is the final authority for us Christians, designed by the Holy Spirit for us to learn how to worship God, how to fellowship with God and teaches us the fullness and richness of God. The Bible teaches us that Jesus Christ, the Son of God, is the only way, the truth and the life and whoever believes in Him will not perish but have an everlasting life.

GOD assured to build all of us again (RESTORE) and in His written Word there will be joy in hearing God talking to our souls, God is perfect and His voice is our perfect inspiration. The Word will nourish our spirit, soul and body as it prepares us to be holy and acceptable to the Almighty God... Scriptures is written for us not to criticize but for us to learn and seek the goodness and kindness of the Almighty Father.

While we are trying to improve our relationship with the Son, we may experience the brotherhood bonding with the Son together with the body of believers; the Body of Christ. Jesus is ruling the earth right now! He is in our heart with His commandment of love. Blessed are we who accept this notion for we can be His elect, chosen or called and we do not want to miss it. ENJOY PRAISING THE FATHER AND THE SON AND THE HOLY SPIRIT. Smile and more smile, as we look forward for more happy days in our lives as we welcome the LORD’s Blessings. Have a Happy New Year to all!

Meditate on this word every night and you will be alright when you wake up; remember that God is with you, He said: "Do not be afraid — I am with you! I am your God — let nothing terrify you! I will make you strong and help you; I will protect you and save you." — Isaiah 41:10

So, again we don't need to wait until the New Year to come for a fresh start because His mercies are new every time we wake up in the morning. Our body will be reformed by God and our spirit will be renewed by the Holy Spirit. A new year means new beginnings and fresh starts. Let go of the past failures and disappointments, so you can embrace a new perspective, look at the futures and all the opportunities of a reformed body and renewed spirit— "Because of the LORD’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness." — Lamentations 3:22-23

He is the author of a renewed spirit and His grace is upon us that believe. “I will give them an undivided heart and put a new spirit in them; I will remove from them their heart of stone and give them a heart of flesh” — Ezekiel 11:19. In Ephesians 4: 22-24 “You were taught, with regard to your former way of life, to put off your old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires; to be made new in the attitude of your minds; and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness.
